Donna K. Deitz

Donna's forté is watercolor pencil. The paint is applied with a brush after being picked-up from the sharpened tip of the pencil. Using photographs as source material she often paints detailed architecture renderings of stonework inspired by the work found in old buildings in Bucks County Pennsylvania. Flowers growing on weathered fencework or old walls serve as inspiration in themselves.

Donna prefers medium weight watercolor paper and frequently works in five by seven to 9 x 13in.

Prints are produced on watercolor paper matching the original and are shipped in cardboard rolls.
