I find abstraction to be the most demanding of art
forms. The IPAD finger-painting process eases some of the difficulties as a
gesture can be repeated over and over again until the desired line is obtained.
All of the images shown here are generated by finger-painting. Printed with a
glossy finish (most often) ON METAL the images really snap. They are ready to
hang without framing.
These paintings are expressive of the feeling of the land
in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Most of the work is with watercolor crayon on
board. A varnish finish produces a look similar to oil paint but having the
vibrancy of watercolor.
